January 8: Roll Off Dumpster Day
The first Roll of Dumpster Day for January 2010 will take place this weekend. These events take place on the 2nd Saturday of each month. See the City of Jackson’s press release below for more information. West Jackson locations are highlighted.

ROLL OFF DUMPSTER DAY
Saturday January 8, 2011
The City of Jackson is encouraging citizens of Jackson to participate in Roll-Off Dumpster Day, Saturday, January 8, 2011. Residents can take tree limbs, other yard debris, and household items to one of the following locations from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., weather permitting.
Ward 1 | Ridgewood Place (W. of Ridgewood Rd.)
Ward 2 | Manhattan Park, 5401 Manhattan Road
Ward 3 | JPS Enochs Complex, 101 Near Street
Ward 4 | Westside Community Center, 1450 Wiggins Rd
Ward 5 | 1700 block of Wilson Blvd (N. of Raymond Rd)
Ward 6 | Forest Hill Park, 1334 McCluer Road
Ward 7 | Murrah Drive (E. of Peachtree St, near Murrah High)Residents may bring all household furniture and appliances for disposal. However, tires, chemicals and gas tanks are not accepted in Roll off Dumpster program. Participants are required to place debris inside dumpster provided at the locations.
City business and residents living outside the city limits of the City of Jackson are not eligible to participate. Proof of residency may be required.
