Fatherhood Awareness Conference, Tomorrow

The Mississippi State Department of Health will sponsor a free conference centered around building positive relationships between fathers and their children. The morning session is for fathers only and the afternoon session is open to fathers and mothers and will start at 1:00 p.m.. It will be held at the Mississippi e-Center located at 1230 Raymond Road, Jackson, Mississippi, on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 8:30 a.m.

Guest Speakers will include Governor Phil Bryant and Tommy Ford from the sitcom, “Martin.”

It is not too late to register for the conference.

  1. I will be attending this, hope it will help with putting fathers in position to do right by our children and getting the right help and support we need from the DHS, and the government. We also needs some laws change to benifit both parents to raising our children so that they want get lost in the world.

  2. We completely agree. Father’s play an intricate role in the family. Father’s can be the backbone to the family.
