The JSU Welcome Center will celebrate its first anniversary on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. The JSU family and community are invited to the birthday celebration. The Welcome Center opened one year ago and has been making a meaningful impact in the community ever since. The Welcome Center is a visitors information center that serves prospective students and their families, alumni, staff, and friends of the university. Their services include campus tours, meeting spaces, and general information about JSU.

The Welcome Center also provides a nice, up-to-date space where community members and neighborhood associations can meet. Many community members have expressed their gratitude in having the JSU Welcome Center in their community, because they did not have such a space before it opened.
