‘On the Road to Health’ has partnered with the Center for University-Based Development at Jackson State University to bring you “Cruising the Community.” This event is a 1.2 mile ride around the main campus of Jackson State University. The event is geared towards children ages 5-12 years old and they can ride ANYTHING on wheels, including; bikes, skateboards, scooters, and skates, (no motors).

“Gordon” from Sesame Street will be singing and dancing with the children with a live puppet. He also will be reading his children’s book, “Ricky and Mobo,” which is about a young boy who entered a bike race. There will also be free health screenings available, free food, and free helmets for the children.

Our goal is to register as many children as we can and we need your help! Please click on the link below and register your children for this awesome event! This link will also register any volunteers, sponsors or vendors. So if you fit those categories, go ahead and register too!
