Tigers on Top

Tigerland

The athletes at Jackson State University are an important asset to the area. The University offers seventeen athletic programs and educates hundreds of athletes each year. Currently, the football teams record is 4-2 and 4-0 in the SWAC. On Saturday, they will play Mississippi Valley State in Itta Bena, MS. Good thing is the last time JSU lost to MS Valley State was nineteen years ago! GO TIGERS!!!

If you are unable to support the football team Saturday, then you can come out and support the Women’s and Men’s Basketball teams on Sunday for “Midnight Madness.” The night will offer JSU fans a first look at the men’s and women’s basketball teams. In addition, the event (which is free to the public) will include fun, games, a slam dunk contest, a three-point shootout, an alumni game and will conclude with a fireworks show that will take place behind the AAC.

Come out and support those mighty Tigers!
