On Tuesday, January 14, Jackson residents will have an opportunity to have an impact on the city’s infrastructure by voting for or against the 1% sales tax increase. The 1% sales tax option would be used for addressing the deteriorating water system, drainage issues and streets. This measure, if approved, will allow for immediate work to begin.

This measure will NOT raise taxes on:
Groceries
Restaurants and beverages
Prescription drugs
Hotel/motel rooms
Subscription TV and Internet services
