MLK Convocation
January 15th is the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the nation celebrates his birthday as a national holiday on Monday, January 20th. This is a time to reflect and pay homage to Dr. King for his invaluable contributions to the world.
The Margaret Walker Center for the Study of the African-American Experience at Jackson State University is pleased to announce that Ms. Charlayne Hunter-Gault will be the keynote speaker for the 45th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Birthday Convocation at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, in the Rose E. McCoy Auditorium on the campus of Jackson State University.
