Learn About Dr. Margaret Walker Alexander, Today


Celebrate Women’s History Month with Angela Stewart, archivist for the Margaret Walker Center on the main campus of Jackson State University. Ms. Stewart will serve as the guest speaker during a seminar in the JSU Welcome Center on Tuesday, March 25, at noon. She will share information about the center and museum, contributions of Dr. Margaret Walker Alexander and Dr. Alferdteen Harrison and details on upcoming events.

The Margaret Walker Center is an archive and museum dedicated to the preservation, interpretation, and dissemination of African-American history and culture. The seminar is free and open to the community. Refreshments will be served.
