Mayoral Debate

The election for a new mayor for the City of Jackson is two weeks away and there are thirteen candidates that are looking for a win. All the candidates will be in West Jackson this week to explain why they are running for mayor.

On Thursday, March 27th, the Jackson Chamber of Commerce will host a Mayoral Debate at Jackson State University in the Rose E. McCoy Auditorium. This event will be from 7p.m. – 9p.m. If you plan on attending this debate, you need to be there before seven, because the doors will be closing in order to air the debate live on WLBT.
