“Cruising the Community” was a one to three mile ride around the JSU campus. The event took place on June 27th and despite the rain, over 200 children came out to participate. The ride was for children ages 0-12 years old and children could ride anything on wheels including bikes, scooters, wagons, tricycles, skates, roller blades, wheel chairs, and skateboards. The Center for University-Based Development organizes this event to promote the usage of the biking and walking trails on the Dr. Robert Smith Parkway.
