Super Neighborhoods Workshop, Saturday

The City of Jackson will hold a Super Neighborhood Workshop on Saturday, Sept. 27th, from 8:00 a.m. to Noon, at the Jackson Police Academy. They are inviting members of neighborhood associations, community groups, churches and local businesses to the roll out of Mayor Tony Yarber’s new initiative to strengthen the city’s communities.

A super neighborhood is a geographically designated area where residents, civic organizations, institutions and businesses work together to identify, plan and set priorities to address the needs and the concerns of their communities.

The Jackson Police Academy is located at 3000 St. Charles Street and the workshop is free.
