“On the Road to Health” is all about promoting health and fitness in the Metro Jackson communities. On October 3rd, they will be hosting their 3rd Annual 5k Zoo Run. The race starts at New Horizon Church International and will end at the Jackson Zoo, starting at 8:00 am.

This will be a timed event with 10 year age category awards starting at 13 – 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up. There will also be police escorts and plenty of refreshments at the finish line.

There will be shuttle service to take people back to their vehicles after everyone is finished.

Also if you decide you want to dress up as a zoo animal and run, then you will be eligible for the grand prize. The event is kids friendly and will feature face painting and space jumps.
