Lynch Street Complete, Ahead of Schedule & Under Budget
Since June of this year, the City of Jackson and Stantec Consulting have been working to repave J. R. Lynch St. from Wiggins St. to HWY 80. According to Stantec Consulting they had until February 2015 to complete the project, however they said they have completed the project two months early and under budget.
Stantec states they are trying to determine what they can do with the funds that are left over but they have not made any decisions yet. However the funds will be used to enhance the Lynch Street Corridor.
Below are the list of things that were completed for this project.
Four new traffic signal polls on HWY 80 and Lynch St.
New cross walk with lights on Arbor Vista
New pavement from Wiggins St to HWY 80
Painted new lines on Lynch St.
Installation of raised pavement markers along Lynch St.
Installation of new curbs and gutter in selected areas along Lynch St.
Drainage repairs in front of Christ the King Catholic Church
Sidewalk repairs in front of Christ the King Catholic Church

A motivatng discussion is definitely worth comment. I do think that you ought to write more oon this topic,
it might not be a taboo subject but generally people don’t talk about these topics.
To the next! Kind regards!!
Thank you for your comment. I agree that people do not generally write or talk about these things. We will try and keep you posted on any new information about Lynch St and write about any new re-pavement efforts on our area.
