In celebration of Black History Month, the Welcome Center will host the seminar “From Africa to America” on Tuesday, February 24, from 12 noon until 1 pm in the center. The guest speakers are students from the JSU International Programs Department: Clauditte Tchakounte, from Cameroon; and Yemi Osho, from Nigeria.

Students will share information about their lifestyles in Africa and how they contrast to living and going to school in the United States.

This is a free community seminar and refreshments will be served.

There will also be fun African-themed door prizes!
