The JSU Recreation Complex is proud to host its 9th annual Sweetness “Fight Against Obesity” 5K Run/Walk and One Mile Fun Run on Saturday, April 18th. The purpose of this event is to increase obesity awareness in Mississippi and to promote physical activity in the community.

The event is slated to take place on the main campus of Jackson State University where the 5K Run/Walk and One mile Fun Run ending at the Walter Payton Center.

You can register for the run/walk at http://www.active.com. The race begins at 8:00 am and will be followed by a health fair from 11:00 am -2:00 pm.
