adoption

Are you wondering what’s going on with the Jackson State Tiger Exhibit at the Jackson Zoo? On Tuesday, March 31, from noon until 1 p.m., the Welcome Center will host a seminar featuring speakers from the Jackson Zoo and JSU. The topics for discussion will include the Jackson State Tiger Exhibit Partnership and “JSU Day at the Zoo.” The community is invited to attend and learn about special rates for membership to students, alumni, and friends and about the rare Sumatran male tiger cub named “Eko” that serves as the centerpiece of the Tiger exhibit at the zoo.

The seminar speakers from Jackson State are Dr. Deborah F. Dent, Vice President for Division of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer; and Felix M. Anderson, Events Coordinator from the Events Department. Speakers from the Jackson Zoo are Stacy Crain, Education Registrar/Volunteer Contact; and Angela Harris, Marketing and Communications Manager.

The seminar is open to the community and refreshments will be served. And, they will have fun door prizes!

RSVP today at 601.979.0883.
