The City of Jackson’s Fire Department and the American Red Cross will be canvassing Ward 5, Saturday, July 11th to install free smoke detectors. This will take place between 8:30 am and 1:00 pm. Residents will have the chance to receive free smoke detectors, create fire safety plans, and receive information on fire prevention and safety.

Residents will receive free fire alarms that will be installed at no cost to the resident.

This event is being sponsored by the City of Jackson, the American Red Cross, and the Jackson Fire Department.
