3rd Annual Cruising the Community, Friday

3RD Cruising the Community Final FINAL

On Friday, July 31st the Center for University-Based Development will host the 3rd Annual Cruising the Community event at the Walter Payton Center from 8 am to Noon. Cruising the Community promotes the biking and walking trails on the campus of JSU as safe places for children to bike and walk.

The event features a 1-3 mile ride around the campus of JSU and children can ride anything on wheels. This includes bikes, scooters, skateboards, skates, wagons and strollers.

The event is free and will feature appearances by Dr. Robert Smith Sr., Mayor Tony Yarber, and an exhibition game by the Rollin Tigers wheelchair basketball team.

All participants who preregister will receive a free helmet, a free t-shirt, free books, and lunch.
