Meet Keep Jackson Beautiful, Thursday

2015 Meet and Greet KJB

Keep Jackson Beautiful will be hosting a Meet & Greet, Thursday, August 20th at Noon in the Hood Building. This is an opportunity to get to know Keep Jackson Beautiful and what they do for the City of Jackson. They also will be serving lunch.

Keep Jackson Beautiful, Inc. is a non-profit, certified local affiliate of Keep America Beautiful dedicated to changing attitudes and behavior towards environmental issues such as littering and recycling. Their programs focus on education, litter reduction, recycling and beautification of Jackson.

Marsha Hobson is the executive director of Keep Jackson Beautiful is she is very active in the community. Keep Jackson Beautiful supplies groups with trash bags and gloves for cleans ups and they also secure funding for planting trees and building gardens. Most recently they helped secure funding for building a pavilion at the Jackson Zoo and built two butterfly gardens in Battlefield Park.
