Jim Hill Cheerleaders Make it to Nationals, Go Fund Them
This past June, the Jim Hill High School cheerleaders participated in an NCA cheerleading camp at the University of Southern Mississippi. At this camp, Jim Hill earned a bid to the 2016 NCA Senior and Junior High School Nationals to be held in Dallas, Texas, January 23-24. This will be the cheerleaders third time competing at a national competition and their second time competing at this particular competition.
Earning a Nationals bid is an outstanding achievement and they are already working hard on their competition routines.
Jim Hill cheerleaders are the FIRST squad from Jackson Public School District to compete on a national level. However, a trip of this magnitude requires major funding. In the past, it has been the donations and sponsorship’s from community members and leaders that has allowed them to represent Jackson Public School District on the national level.
In order to make their third trip a success, Jim Hill is soliciting the help of family, friends, and the community. The money that they raise will cover transportation, lodging, and all registration fees for a squad of 30.
