September is National Hispanic Month. Please join the JSU Welcome Center on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, from 12 noon until 1 pm for the seminar featuring the Mississippi Hispanic Association (MHA). The guest speakers are Elsa Baughman, editor of Mississippi Católico of the Catholic Diocese of Jackson; and Esperanza Velasquez, longtime professor of Spanish at Jackson State University.

The speakers will talk about how MHA works to stimulate, support, and promote cultural, social and educational opportunities for the state’s Hispanic and Latino community.
