The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) will host AVIATION DAY on Saturday, August 20, at Hawkins Field located at 558 West Ramp Street in Jackson. Festivities that include family fun, food, and a static aircraft will begin at 10:00 a.m. and run through 2:00 p.m.

Jackson AVIATION DAY at Hawkins Field is free and open to the public.

Held in observation of National Aviation Day, the interactive events will coincide with the birthday of Orville Wright, who together with his brother Wilbur, made significant contribution to powered flight. Community groups, churches, schools and students along with all communities are invited to enjoy the showcase of a static aircraft. Information booths and vendors will be on hand. Food and beverages will be provided.
