Back in February of 2016 we told you about the new Family Life Center slated for construction for Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church. Well construction has begun and they recently poured the foundation for the center. Please see pictures below.

For the past 14 years, Pastor John A. Wicks Jr. has been leading the church of more than 900 members. Beginning in 2012, Mount Nebo began planning and raising funds for their Family Life Center.

According to Pastor Wicks the church has raised most of the funds to begin construction for the building this year. The Family Life Center will be built onto the current church in the parking lot and will feature a gym, stage, multi-purpose room and classrooms.

Mount Nebo is located at 1245 Tunica St. and holds service at 8:00 a.m. and a 11:00 a.m. on Sundays.
