The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning announced the selection of Dr. William B. Bynum Jr. as the preferred candidate for president of Jackson State University. Dr. Bynum will meet with campus constituency groups on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, on the Jackson State University Campus.

While each session focuses on the needs of a specific constituency group, all sessions are open to the public. Anyone is welcome to attend any session on the schedule.

Dr. Bynum will meet with campus constituency groups in Ballroom A of the JSU Student Center, 1400 John R. Lynch Street, Jackson, Miss., 39217, on Wednesday, May 31, according to the following schedule:

Board Meeting

1:30 p.m.
Press Conference

The Board of Trustees will meet to consider the selection of Dr. Bynum as President of Jackson State University on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 1 p.m. The Board meeting will be held in the Presidential Dining Room of the JSU Student Center, 1400 John R. Lynch Street, Jackson, Miss., 39217. Members of the Board may participate in the meeting via teleconference. An executive session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
