National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

Tonight, several West Jackson communities will be hosting National Night Out events. Pecan Park will be hosting their National Night Out at Lynch Street CME Church from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It will feature a grill master cook-off, music and a bounce house for children.

Capitol Neighbors, Jayne Avenue, and ZAPP will be hosting a National Night Out event at Livingston Park, next to the Jackson Zoo, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. They want you to bring your own food and they will supply beverages. They will also feature music, bounce houses and fun.
