Mt. Olive Cemetery Research Book, Pictures

On November 9, 2017 the Center for University-Based Development (CUBD) held an unveiling ceremony for the Mt. Olive Cemetery Project. The event included performances by Jim Hill Choir, JSU MADDRAMA, and the unveiling of two restored statues, Jim Hill and Ida Revels Redmond.

In addition, CUBD published their research findings that include the names of those buried in the cemetery. Please see the pdf version of the research book below.

This research was completed by Heather Wilcox and funded by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History and the Mississippi Humanities Council.
