Keep Jackson Beautiful presents for the first time in Mississippi, The Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Tour, known as “the next Sundance”. It is one of the largest environmental film festivals in North America and will be held at the Russell C. Davis Planetarium on Saturday, January 20, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The afternoon will be feature 11 films aimed to leave you feeling inspired and engaged. Admission is FREE!

The featured guest speaker is the “Gangsta Gardener,” Ron Finley. Finley grew up in the South Los Angeles food prison, and set out to fix a problem. In 2010, he planted vegetables in the curbside dirt strip next to his home. From there, a revolution began.
