The Department of Accounting at JSU is a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site.  They will begin free tax preparation services on Wednesday, February 6, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  They will prepare all taxes at the College of Business Building in suite 201 & 210.

This site is for walk-ins.

Clients must have the following documents:

• Social security cards for taxpayer, spouse & dependents (copies acceptable)
• Photo Identification (taxpayer and spouse)
• All income documents (W-2’s, 1099’s, ect…)
• form 1095-A, if purchase health insurance on market-place exchange
