In April, 20 students from Hardy Middle School took the ACT test to prepare for college. Scores from the 20 students ranged from 14 to 23. Eight grader, Jehron Keys tested the highest with score of 23.

Pecan Tree Park Neighborhood Association along with other West Jackson groups wanted to highlight this accomplishment by featuring him on a billboard with his name and picture. Currently, you will see his face and name standing tall at the intersection of Ellis Avenue and Robinson Road.
