The Center for University-Based Development (CUBD) at JSU will be hosting the annual Crop Drop event on Saturday, August 17 from 9:00 am to Noon. The event will take place at Blackburn Middle School’s parking lot located at 1311 W. Pearl Street.

This event is apart of JSU’s Welcome Week for incoming freshman. JSU students will be bagging over 20,000 pounds of sweet potatoes and distributing to the community for free.

In addition to the distribution of fresh produce, CUBD will be hosting a Sweet Potato Pie Contest. If you are interesting in seeing if you have the best pie, please see directions and fill out the entry form below.
