Washington Addition Provides Supplies To Senior Citizens
Over the past couple of months, the leadership team of the Washington Addition Neighborhood Association has been gathering supplies for the seniors in the community. Felicia McClinton is the president of Washington Addition and has been able to secure masks, toiletries, and food.
Once she receives the items, she works with her neighborhood to take the supplies to the seniors in the community. She says its important to take these things to her neighbors because they are unable to get out and get them.
Below are just a few pictures of the distribution.
Why we appreciate and congratulate Ms. Felicia McClinton on her work in the community, the first three pictures are not a product of Ms. McClinton work. The first three pictures are from an event organized and sponsored by Joshua Page and Ken Horton, who delivered self-care packages to residents of Washington Addition. They are also the ones who sponsor the annual My Brothers Keeper at Shepard Park.
