Crop Drop set for Friday, December 18

JSU’s Community Engagement Office will host its annual Crop Drop event on Friday, December 18. The event will start at 9:00 am until food is gone. They will be distributing 10,000 pounds of sweet potatoes and about 100 bags of collard greens from the JSU/Blackburn Learning Garden.

The event is free and open to the public and will be hosted at 1311 W. Pearl Street. For more information, contact Heather Denne’ at 601-979-5828 or by email at heather.a.denne@jsums.edu.

Volunteers are needed to help bag sweet potatoes from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.
