Historic Mt. Olive Cemetery Project Presentation, Today

JSU’s Office of Community Engagement will be hosting a zoom presentation about the work they are doing on the Historic Mt. Olive Cemetery. The presentation will take place Thursday, February 25 at 3:00 pm. During this presentation, you will learn about the Historic Mt. Olive Cemetery and the African American Culture in Jackson, Miss., post-slavery. Additionally, information will be provided about the preservation that is slated for Historic Mt. Olive this summer and how this project will help to revitalize the Lynch Street Corridor.
