Over the past 3 months, students from Blackburn Middle School have been working hard to grow collard greens in the JSU/Blackburn Learning Garden. This past Friday, they had a full circle moment where they actually cooked the greens they grew with family members and community partners.

This marks the 4th Annual Greens Cook-Off at Blackburn and it did not disappoint. Students worked with their elders to add the right amount of spice to their pots of greens. Celebrity judges such as Phil Stamps from Stamps Super Burger came in and helped judge who would win this year. Check out the pictures from the event.
