Voice of Calvary Ministries along with partner, Marrow and Associates, a NYC based development firm focused on the development of urban communiities, is proposing a new mixed-use development for West Jackson. The development, Downtown West-a garden community, will be a $21 million mixed-use complex located at 531 West Capitol Street. The site represents 3.28 acres of land and will feature market rate apartments, commercial spaces, and several roof top gardens.

This development is working with the owner of Kiononia Coffee House, Lee Harper, to ensure her business is incorporated in the new development.

The development is expected to break ground by March 2015.
