The Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program is accepting applications until Monday, March 2. The city is looking to hire 300 youth for the program.

Applicants must be between 16 and 24 years of age to apply. Applications can be picked up from Jackson Public Schools High School Counselors or from the Department of Human and Cultural Services, located in Metrocenter Mall.

Students who are selected receive work assignments in city departments and at nonprofits. Other students are referred to private businesses as prospective summer hires.
