Teens Can Attend the Boys & Girls Club for the Summer for only $25 Dollars
Thousands of boys and girls, at-risk and in need, are taking advantage of the programs, activities, and services provided by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi (BGCCM). Currently, the BGCCM serves more than 2,200 children and teenagers in the Central Mississippi area.
The BGCCM is trying to encourage more teens to attend the clubs by offering a discounted rate for all teens ages 13-18 years old. All teens will be allowed to attend the BGCCM for the summer for only $25.00 dollars. During the summer the club is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and all youth will receive breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. All parents or guardians have to do is fill out an application at the club and pay the fee. All youth must be enrolled by Friday, May 20, to attend the BGCCM for the summer.
For youth ages 6-12 years old, the fee for children to attend in the summer is $115.00 dollars.
The West Jackson club is located at 1450 W. Capitol Street. This club services children attending: Provine High, Murrah High School, Jim Hill High, Bailey Middle, Northwest Middle, Hardy Middle, Blackburn Middle, Lake Elementary, Johnson Elementary, Isable Elementary, George Elementary, Davis Elementary, Raines Elementary, Pointdexter Elementary, Pecan Park Elementary, John Hopkins Elementary, French Elementary, and Clausell Elementary. Children who attend Barr Elementary are escorted to the Capitol Unit.
