National Hunger Awareness Month Event with Blackburn Middle School, Chef Nick Wallace & US Foods

This month is National Hunger Awareness Month and Blackburn Middle School partnered with Chef Nick Wallace, and US Foods to raise awareness about hunger and food insecurities in the community.  They exposed scholars to community members and prepared nutritious meals for elderly residents in West Jackson.  

Pecan Tree Park Neighborhood was the lead community group making sure the meals got to the homebound persons.
