Home Depot Retool Your School Project Build Day

On November 15, over 50 JSU students volunteered to help create a pocket park next to the COFO Complex. Students assembled new furniture in place for the park from the Home Depot Retool Your School Grant. JSU won 3rd place in the amount of $80,000 for the grant! $50,000 went to the Pocket Park and $30,000 went to the JSU/Blackburn Learning Garden.

Students also helped install new fountains and rocking chairs to the JSU/Blackburn Learning Garden. Along with painting the brand new greenhouse in the garden.
