West Jackson CDC Sucures Youthbuild Grant

The West Jackson Community Development Corporation (West Jackson CDC) held a press conference on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, to announce an exciting funding award from the U.S. Department of Labor.

Linda Carter, Director, shared that they have been awarded $1.5 million to continue and expand the Jackson YouthBuild program, empowering young people in our community with education, job training, and leadership opportunities.

They are currently enrolling for the training and supportive services for youth ages 16-24. Training includes GED, Healthcare Certifications, CDL Training, and Construction. For more information call 601-397-6900
