5/30 – Mindful Mile: a Peaceful Walk for Mental Health Awareness Month!

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 9:00 AM CST, MSJW is hosting Mindful Mile in Jackson!

Mindful Mile is a peaceful community walk in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month designed to create space for care, reflection, intentional conversation, and collective well-being.

As an organization rooted in the fight for human dignity and justice, MSJW recognizes that caring for our mental and emotional well-being is essential to sustaining long-term movement work. Building a more just world requires not only action, but also space for rest, restoration, and connection.

This walking event is an opportunity for community members to slow down, engage with one another across perspectives, and invest in the relationships that strengthen our collective movement. Through guided conversation and shared movement, participants will create space for community care, renewed energy, and reflection.

This event is free with RSVP. All are welcome to join us for a peaceful morning walk for care, restoration, and community connection. Rest is radical. Be part of making space for care, connection, and restoration.
