JSU’s Office of Government and Community Engagement partnered with JPS for the GEAR Up Grant

JSU’s Office of Government and Community Engagement partnered with JPS for the GEAR Up Grant.  This will result in JSU receiving 1.3 million to support JPS scholars attending clubs and summer camps at JSU for the next seven years. Scholars will get to explore different career paths, experience being on a college campus and interact with professors and students. This grant allows us to provide supportive programming for students from middle school through their first year of post secondary education whether that be college, vocational/trade school, or other specialized training programs. Camps include Robotics, STEM, Gardening, Writing, Pre-Law and others.
